Since I haven't blogged in almost three months. Sorry. It's hard to keep up with everyone and still find time to write my own blog. I don't have much time, especially since we don't have a computer at home anymore. As I am sitting here, at my mom's all three of my wonderful children have thrown as many books as possible all over my mom's playroom/computer room. What a mess! I have two in time out and one wondering what just happend here? So to update on us.
We changed realty companies and lowered the house more, but now it's winter, so it'll probably be yet more time before we sell the house. Which is a thorn in my side. We already are running out of room, plus coming with owning your own home, you have to fix everything that breaks and trying to sell it doesn't help when things break. In one day, I had to break the lock on the bathroom door, because Emily some how got locked in there. She loves to hide and close doors, obviously someone else was messing with the lock. And that same day Isaiah thought the towel holder in the bathroom would be good for pull-ups. So that weekend, Bill had some things to fix in the house. And right now our house doesn't have power, because of the ice/rain/snow storm that came thru. We lost power at 2 in the morning Tuesday and it's now Wednesday at 10 am and still no power, but we aren't the only ones. We stayed home most of the day yesterday and Bill picked up all the tree branches around that were in our street and things, and we have a wood stove, so stayed somewhat warm with that.
Bill's new job is still going good. He loves it which is a nice change, but definately works hard! He was on call and worked 5 and a half hours on Sunday. But made two trips back and forth, and hour each way. We had a little get together at our house this weekend, and the kids stayed at Nana's, a good break, but our friends kept saying, it feels so weird without the kids here. And it was. They are so great to have! The friends and the kids! Isaiah acted like he didn't miss me at all. I still miss them like crazy when they are gone. The gym thing....ugh. That's all I have to say about that. I love hanging out with my kids all the time and can't imagine if I would have to go to work again, not that anyone could afford to, with three kids. I am thinking about putting Isaiah in preschool, maybe he'll catch up to Mackenzie, I can't believe she's spelling words, so smart Val! We are still working on letter recognition. But the people I have asked around here, what do your kids do at preschool, here's the answers, they play playdough, color, sometimes the teacher reads to them, they play with toys and with the other kids. Ummmm.....my kids do that everyday at home with me, so I'm not so sure I want to pay someone to do what I'm already doing at home. So Val, can I have your lesson plans? just joking.
Emily is of course walking everywhere, trying to talk, her first word other than babble "UP!" When she wants to be picked up. She is very shy about talking in front of anyone other than Bill or I. As I said earlier, she loves hiding and climbing. She loves me to read to her and is still very attached to my hair! She is finally signing to me, I thought Isaiah signed much earlier, but seh does very well. She is very sweet and loving, she eats well and is usually a great well-behaved baby!
Angel is trying to talk more and I can't wait for January, to get her re-evaluated for speech.
I had to wait until she was closer to turning three. Even Isaiah's speech therapist doesn't understand a single word she says. On the 15th of December, Angel will have been with us for a year, her adoption date was the 3rd of January. She is still adjusting and learning, but I think she's come along way in a year. She currently loves doing her hair and anyone else's who will let her, she likes to be painful though. Still loves reading and purses and babies. she is a bag lady for sure. She repeats everything we and anyone else says word for word everytime. Let me tell you it gets old. She loves to follow Isaiah around and do whatever he is, accept watch t.v. She loves going places and loves, shoes coats and hats and gloves. I love to watch her get so excited about things going on. Her favorite phrase lately "I dont know" but sounds like "i nono"
Isaiah loves going to speech and likes making new friends everywhere we go. At McDonalds, for example, everyone he talks to he calls "friend" oh to live in such a world right? He likes to say "can you please leave me alone?" a lot, with two sisters, what boy doesn't. He still loves dinosaurs and likes airplanes lately too. Loves coloring, painting and playdough, makes sure we do them everyday, as well as his flash cards with shapes and colors, which I'm proud to say he knows them all pretty well. On to letters now! Loves to "work" with daddy. work the tool he says and pretends to fix everything. He is a ray of happiness most days, constantly loving on me and letting me know, I'll be fine and he's fine too. hugs people when they are sad and likes talking to Daddy and sometimes other people on the phone, again not as much as his sisters. He tries to play daddy sometimes too, I hear "do you want a spanking?" a lot from him to his sisters.
Well I better go for now, stay tuned, until next time right? Sorry it was so long and I hope people still look at my blog :)

YAY- you posted! :) I still check your blog Crystal. Sorry you haven't sold the house yet, that has to be frustrating-especially trying to keep it in tip top shape with three little ones!! Glad to hear things are going well. Your kiddos look as cute as ever!
It was good to see you and the kids on Thursday. They are all getting so big! I will pray that your house sells soon. Take care!
HEY!!! I'm so glad to "catch up" with you.
1) GREAT pictures!
2) I'm so sorry about all the house frustrations! That's tough.
3) Mackenzie has those Leap Frog alphabet magnets that help with phonics and everything. Also, she has alphabet bath toys that we work with sometimes.
4) Have you looked into preschools there? I'm interested for next year when we're home.
Take care!
