End of School

Isaiah and Angel both finished school the same week. In mid-may. I know it's been a while, I am going to try to do better. Facebook sucks me in and I can't seem to get away to blog. So I will try this first. And I will try doing the short blogs again.
Anyway.

Isaiah was first. Bill took the day off for Family Fun Day and we had a good time. They had a little singing, memory verse and poem time first and then lots of other stuff. Blow up slide, bubbles, playground, tunnels and a little lunch for everyone. It was nice. Got to hang out with Josh and Mackenzie, Bella, and Deacon(val was with her sister). Isaiah graduated from preschool and from speech. Ms. Teresa was his speech teacher for 2 years and she loved him and he loved her. She said she was sad to see him go, but he is ready. Almost 100% understandable. He has done so well. Hopefully I can keep the learning going this summer. It was a good time. Isaiah could not grasp the idea that he is not going back to school there. He is still calling it "my school" when we drive out of town and he says that Mrs. Heather will see him "in a little bit". He has been to his Kindergarten (did I just say that?) and played on their playground and looked at the classrooms and knows about it, but still Loves Wallula to the core.

Angel's last day was the very next day. We got her out of school early the day before for Isaiah's thing. So I think that threw her off a little. Anyway. They also had a little program (minus the memory verses). Singing, Dancing, Story Book time. It was a cute production, she didn't want much to do with me though. She likes doing her own thing when we are at "her" school. Cookies. Drinks and good-byes. Me w/ 4 kids by myself by 8 a.m is HARD. So we barely made it there, carrying drinks and breakfast, and babies I probably looked like a hot mess, but was glad we made it and she got to say see ya later. She will probably have the same teacher next year(Ms. Barb ) and hopefully the next year be ready for Kindergarten without special education. :)

Hopefully (like I mentioned earlier). I will still be able to work with them this summer and keep up all that they learned this year. It is definately not easy to fit everything I need to do in ONE day. Every day. They both love school and I love that there are still Great teachers out there willing to work with children and teach them. I always wanted to be a teacher, still may be someday. At least I have these four babies to teach. Look forward to another blog soon. Hopefully this week. ;)
