Official Soccer Mom.

Isaiah started soccer on Thursday. We signed him up in July and this was his first practice. He kept calling the soccer coach his preacher? IDK why. He also talked his ear off the entire time. I heard a lot of "LOOK what I can DO!" It was very cute. And he also like every other kid ignored everything I ever told him before soccer and did it all. Left his ball for some other kid to play with. Talked to the coach the entire time. Did his own thing when he should have been listening to the coach. He's only 5 and no one on his team is over 6 so I don't think they will expect anything but running around and falling down and laughing. :) But hey, he went to soccer, had fun and met some new friends. Jim is on his team and is apparently someone from his class at school to which he was sooooo excited about. Jim is a little guy in all yellow soccer clothes and cleats. Wow! One kid showed up in jeans to which I said "Soccer practice in jeans?" No one answered my somewhat mumbled question. (haha). Isaiah absoloutely loves it and everyday since I have heard "Am I going to go to soccer today?" To which for a whole week the answer will be "NO" They are having some sort of Adult tournament so the practice fields will be used which means no practice. Boo.

We are excited about soccer too. The girls and Thomas are not so thrilled with the practice part and were pretty bored. I have to think outside the usual box of things to bring when we go out. Outside with other kids running around, I can only keep them still, with me and in sight for so long with drinks, snacks, and play telephones. I am left wondering is it too early to get a soccer ball window applique and put his name up there on the van?
