So sad.....
The first day in hospital/afternoon. The worst of it! So happy that God answers prayer!
We are still in the hospital. They just took his iv out. It is still in his arm just in case so they don't have to re-poke him if he needs fluids. The Dr. said as long as he tolerates the food we give him and doesn't get sicker, they may let him go home today. :) A very happy mommy here if that's the case. I am definately missing my other kids and ready to tackle what lies for me at home.
The dr's still don't have a name to give me as to what virus he has/had and what exactly is/was wrong. Even though they have tested him for everything major and maybe not so major. Very Lathargic and sick. He has had some dirreaha today and seems to enjoy eating so far, so other than that he is getting much better. He is awake, a little cranky and wants me to hold him and snuggle at all times. Which I don't mind b/c that's why I'm here and his mommy. Although I'm not sure if we go home he will not be wanting the same attention and treatment. All of his vitals are good all of his tests have been negative. He did test positive for what they called Para influenza (Croup) but doesn't have the symptoms of that. He had RSV a couple of weeks ago and that is gone. He has no upper respiratory other than what started yesterday after the MRI which they had to sedated and intibate him for. Since then he has been coughing, but not much before. He did throw up once last night, but seems to me from choking or coughing not from being nauseaus or sick. I'm posting some pic's I took over the last few days and you can see at least his eyes are open. Pray and cross your fingers that we will be going home today!!!! Doing great so far and thank you so much for your prayers and support. And a Big thank you to our Families, our Friends and our Church Shawnee Mission Baptist Temple For all your love support and Help to us during this time THANK YOU!
LOVE
Crystal and the walker family! :)
