Thomas turned 1, July 20, can you believe it? I can't. He is growing up too fast and he is so smart!!!! Here are some stats for him for the year:
Birth Weight: 9lbs 6oz
Last known weight: 27lbs 6oz
Birth Length 21.5 inches
Current length 31 inches
Current length 31 inches
He is Off the charts, in every way. As I have said before, definately my most high maintence baby. He loves playing with his brother and sisters. Plays great by himself, as long as I'm close enough to pay attention to him. If I try to do anything, he is on my tail. He is a helper in the making I think. Likes closing the dryer door when I am putting clothes in it. He likes unscrewing caps to everything, medicine bottles, sippy cups, whatever he can get his hands on. :)
He likes to read as long as he can hit the book while I am doing so. Loves to make noise. Loves music. Is babbling a lot lately. He can do just about anything he sets his mind to, even if it requires hurting himself. He can take anyone. He is a picky eater. His laugh is contagious. He is somewhat bow-legged,(thanks to Papa). :)
He loves his pacifier. I think he may be lactose-intolerant or allergic, the switch to whole milk hasn't happend on account of throwing up and dirreaha. He loves saying goodnight to his sisters and brothers and lovingly gives them all kisses (0pen mouth) :) As long as they are in their room, not anywhere else. Picks and chooses who he kisses. Loves anything that is mine and takes off with it all. Drinks almost exclusively sweet tea (as do the other 3). Lets us know when he's tired. Our bed is his bed most nights. Hates shoes. Unlike the other 3, doesn't like tomatoes or cucumbers (yet). Loves water and the pool. When I am gone, he paces the floors looking for me and cries. Loves brushing his 5 teeth. :) Likes yelling. He can now, kick, yes I said kick Isaiahs Soccer ball. It is adorable, and advanced :). Climbs like no ones business. Loves dogs (from a distance). The only person besides mommy daddy and papa he has said is "isaiah". (Isaiah could probably care less).
Emily is still his little mommy and loves to do anything for him.
Angel tries, but most of the time it ends with someone hurt. :(. Our little boy is growing up way too fast!
I made him a robot( a friend on facebook says its r2d2, but I have no idea?) cake for his birthday. This experience did not go as well as Angel's but, maybe next year. I used too much milk in the frosting and I was worn out and emotionally tired at the time.
He is going to be a great fear to me when he is a teenager. He already has 2 ER visits on his docket. Including one 5 day hospital stay, in which the dr's were very perplexed. :( He constantly has a bruise or scrape, most of the time it's on his head. He is a dare-devil in every sense of the words. You say "NO" and sometimes he pouts, but sometimes he turns and looks at me (much like his DADDY) and is saying in the look "is that a challenge?"
So I tend to ramble sometimes. I know I am about to not have anymore technically babies, he is considered a "toddler" now so I am not willing to accept it, and I need to remember this baby stage. When the 500 questions are too much and the constant need for food, wears me out. These babies = Happy life!!!
I'll just make this post Thomas' bday. Isaiah is having his 5th party Saturday, with Bill he will be 28. Sorry its hard for me to post very often. I have a lot I need to post about. I will make time. :)
